Carly’s tutoring services are worth the investment! Carly is impartially kind towards everyone she meets. She is timely, intentional, goal-oriented, engaging, and incredibly patient with my girls. My girls truly look forward to her tutoring sessions, because although there is accountability and work involved, Carly makes it fun for them to be around her. Whenever I have specific requests for an academic focus, Carly is studious and careful to adjust to my requests. She is not afraid to study a new academic curriculum and learn exactly how to teach it (as she skillfully demonstrated with our grammar curriculum). When I took my daughters to their annual home education exam after their first year with Carly, the certified proctor asked me what had changed with the girls’ instruction in the past year because their reading and writing skills had noticeably improved! Not only this, but she also requested Carly’s reference for other parents who she might encounter in her network!

Carly is clear in her communication, and full of encouragement to turn the process from frustrating work to joy in the reward of visible improvement. Carly did a great job of making my 3rd grade daughter, who was initially very reluctant to participate in tutoring, feel very comfortable. My daughter would look forward to her tutoring sessions with Carly and was always ready to pull out her notebook and pencil and get down to work.
